LEDs for my Garage by admin

I really need to buy a light bulb for my garage, the only functioning light bulb that remained blew just last night. I was discussing with my mother exactly which light bulb to opt for and she pointed me in the direction of the Gu 10 light bulb. I did not know but apparently, light emitting diodes save you money on electricity bills and help save the environment! My plan is therefore to replace my incandescent bulb with a light emitting diode.

I have checked out all the available light emitting diodes and have simply been overwhelmed by the amount of choice. There is a light emitting diode for all tastes. Light emitting diodes come in all colours and all shapes and all intensities. I cannot wait to deck my garage out with some brightly coloured light emitting diodes. It will look like a party room after I have finished with the lighting. The only problem is my mother who may not like the changes I have made to the garage which is why I will buy some spare and sensible light emitting diodes, just in case she wants to change them.

Discount on my fishing rod by admin

I am so pleased that I was able to use IWantOneOfThose discount codes to buy myself a new fishing rod. Sadly my last fishing rod snapped in transit from Peru to the United Kingdom. I had put multiple stickers on the case reading ‘Fragile!’ but upon arriving at Heathrow, I went to baggage claims and to my dismay, discovered that the rod inside had snapped cleanly in half. I went to every fishing shop in London that I knew of, begging them to reseal the pieces together but every shop said it was impossible, and that I would have to purchase a new one.

They reason why I was so emotionally attached to this fishing rod was that my great aunt Olga gave it to me shortly before she died. From Romania, she had used the fishing rod on the black sea to gather enough food for her family for years. My goodness, Olga was an impressive woman. The fishing rod had been given to Olga as a gift from her father and he had had her initials engraved onto it. I was distraught when it snapped.

Adult Fans of Lego by admin

It is a common misconception that Lego is just for children. There exists a massive host of adults who would fiercely counter this and argue that Lego, as a material that is used to construct things, can appeal to anyone, regardless of age. Dirk Denoyelle, from Hoboken, in Belgium owns almost 3 million pieces of Lego as well as being a stand-up comedian, achieving an engineering degree, and mastering several languages.

Denoyelle said he is proud to be an AFOL (Adult Fan Of Lego) though “ten years ago, nobody admitted it”. A 47 year old man, Denoyelle is midway through constructing a Lego model of an apartment complex which he has been paid a whopping $20,000 to create. Denoyelle has also created life-size Lego busts of Michael Jackson and Charlie Chaplin, as well as a Lego mosaic which depicts a London street with a homeless man in it. Three years ago, the Lego Group made Denoyelle a proud Lego Certified Professional. I wonder if he got a free Lego ninjago set? Lucky Denoyelle!

History of Homosexuality by admin

Publicity surrounding homosexuality in Europe heightened in the 18th century. 1723 saw the publishing of ‘Love Letters Between a Certain Late Nobleman and the Famous Mr. Wilson’ which broached the topic. The 1749 edition of Fanny Hill by John Cleland had a homosexual scene incorporated though this was removed the following year. The first extended and serious defence of homosexuality in English was published in 1749 by John Cannon called ‘Ancient and Modern Pederasty Investigated and Exemplified’ though this was immediately suppressed. Jeremy Bentham also wrote a defence of homosexuality in 1785 but this was suppressed until 1978! In England it was still possible to be executed for sodomy as late as 1835!

‘Research on the Riddle of Man-Manly Love’ was published by Karl Heinrich Ulrichs in the form of a series of tracts between 1864 and 1880. Ulrichs was the first self-proclaimed homosexual person in Europe to publically defend homosexuality, attending the Congress of German Jurists in Munich in 1869 to urge the repeal of, not Tier 1, but the anti-homosexual laws.

Gu10 led bulbs, is the future here already? by admin

Ever since I first got my own place I have tried to make it a reflection of my personality as much as I can. Because now I have enough rooms, I can dedicate one to be my shag room where I can bring all the babes that I manage to talk into coming up with me to my place. One of the many things that I imagined that my shag room will have is adjustable light.

The first thing I thought about when looking into this is the fixtures that I will put in for my bulbs. The regular bulbs I know are too expensive to run because they eat up lots of power and it mostly goes on heat and not on the actual light so I decided against those right from the start, especially because I have enough problems with too much heat in my place as it is, even without adding additional sources of it in the form of lights. This is when I decided to go with gu10 led bulbs.

From what I have heard so far, they generate almost no heat, much like the neon light bulbs, but unlike those gu10 led bulbs can also be adjusted to various levels of brightness. There are even some that come with preinstalled remote control options so that you don’t even have to do that yourself. Gu10 led bulbs are the solution for me and I am very happy to have found out about them right now.
